About Montclair Open MRI

At Montclair Open MRI, the team of board-certified radiologists provides comprehensive radiology care to people aged four and older in Montclair, California, and throughout San Bernardino County.

Montclair Open MRI is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-accredited facility as certified by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). The practice is conveniently located inside Montclair Village Plaza and accepts appointments Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Montclair Open MRI is one of the only radiology facilities in the Inland Empire with an open MRI machine. This advanced technology captures the same high-quality, cross-sectional images of the internal organs and soft tissues but in a non-claustrophobic space.

Traditional MRIs require patients to lie very still inside an enclosed capsule. Open MRIs are different in that there’s no capsule. The machine is open on all sides, providing a more relaxing and comfortable experience. Moreover, it can safely screen patients weighing up to 320 pounds.

Montclair Open MRI offers various imaging services onsite, including back, neck, and joint MRIs. The MRI technicians also offer more specialized care, including imaging for personal and sports injuries and treatment of MRI claustrophobia.

The practice accepts health insurance and out-of-pocket payments and strives to keep costs low. Most imaging results are available within 48 hours and often sooner.

Call Montclair Open MRI to schedule an MRI appointment for yourself or your child today, or book your visit online.

MRI
No Radiation

Open Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses low magnetic field energy through radio waves to align your body’s natural water molecules over a magnetic coil to take pictures inside your body.

Non-Claustrophobic Space

We put your comfort first. A closed MRI can be intimidating and limiting in terms of body types and sizes.

Open-Sided Imaging

Means there is no tunnel structure like a closed MRI. Our MRI Hitachi Airis II machine with open-sides makes it a more roomy and spacious MRI experience. Only the area of your body that needs imaging enters the magnetic coil.
